5 Questions to Consider Before Installing a Custom Shower Enclosure

The biggest mistake some people make is not taking a step back to assess their ideas. 1. What is Your Budget

As the most important thing of the whole process, determining your budget is crucial. It will determine which shower installation company you can use, what type of shower you can install, and if you are able to afford extra features such as towel railings or tiles.

So before you request a quote from your shortlist of local shower companies, know what you can afford.

2. Do You Have Space?

Another crucial question, do you have the space to install a new shower? Often, the company installing your chosen shower design will need to know the dimensions of the space. They’ll either ask you for specifications (via email or over the phone) or they’ll visit your home for a consultation (like Showerline) where they’ll measure the space for you.

So if you don’t have the space to install your shower, rather upgrade to a new space before starting your bathroom renovation project.

  2. Next, depending on the information given, we’ll schedule a consultation. This can either take place over the phone, or our consultants will schedule a free home visit. Here they will take measurements needed to provide an accurate quote.
  3. After the consultation, we’ll start preparing all the components needed for your shower installation including glass, shower fixtures like Towel Rails and Handles, Glass Shelves and any other special additions.
  4. After everything has been manufactured and scheduled, our team of trained professionals will come and install your custom shower.
